Fabulous pedigree, progeny and fleece. Emerald is a very special female. She`s a mature lady still giving show winning cria.
Her pedigree includes some of the most famous names in Australian alpaca history – Highlander, Iceman, Ice Star, and Lidia. Her close relatives form part of a most successful family. A sister was Junior Champion Female at the AAA National Show.
A son, Grand Flowerdale WVE Senator ET, won light fawn Supreme Champion at 2008 Colourbration in Bendigo. (He is now standing at stud on our farm. A daughter, Flowerdale Amaranthus (Emerald’s daughter and exp. to UK) recently won a Supreme Championship there. And this is just some of the story.
Her sire is undoubtedly the most successful stud male in Australian alpaca history. Her dam produced several show winners at the highest level and she herself has produced many broad ribbon winners including a WV Senator, supreme champion and GF Noonday ET the Junior White Champion Female at the 2010 Canberra Royal show and Reserve Intermediate White Champion Female at the 2010 Colourbration show.
Impressive to say the least. And her progeny still win ribbons in the show ring. Her most recent cria, Strath Lorien Ruby, won Reserve Champion at 2012 Royal Canberra show and at Colourama. In short, this female is what serious breeders really want.
